Account information: your username, display name, and email address.
Habit data: your habits, daily check-ins, and streak history.
Habit sync is enabled by default when signed in. You can disable it per habit or by signing out.
We store your habit data solely to sync it across your devices and never use it for any other purpose.
Device token: used exclusively to deliver push notifications.

2. How We Use Your Data

To operate, maintain, and improve Habit Huddle's features.
To deliver habit reminders and social notifications.
To enable social features such as challenges and the friends network.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We share data only with service providers that help us operate the app.

We may disclose data when required by applicable law or legal process.

Your username and profile are visible to other users and can be found through search so they can send you friend requests.

4. Data Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored securely.

While we apply industry-standard safeguards, no system can guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights

You may access your habit data at any time within the app.
You may permanently delete your account and all data from Settings.

6. Push Notifications

We use your device token solely to send habit reminders and social alerts.

You can disable notifications at any time in your device's system settings.

7. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party providers for authentication and cloud infrastructure.

When you use the optional AI habit-suggestion feature, the habit's name, description, and target duration are sent to OpenAI to generate tips. We do not send your name, email, or account identifiers. OpenAI processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy.

8. Children's Privacy

Habit Huddle is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

We will notify you of material changes through the app before they take effect.
